Sport Scientist

Bianca Bloemhof is a distinguished biokineticist and accomplished sports scientist, holding registrations in both fields. In 2016, she attained her honours degree in sports science, followed by the completion of her master's degree in biokinetics in 2023. Her master's thesis, titled "Establishing Normative Flexibility Values for the Thoracolumbar Spine and Hip Joint of Competitive South African Golfers," underscores her commitment to advancing understanding in her field of interest.

Bianca has a special interest in helping professional and elite golfers in delineating and achieving their objectives. Through a comprehensive approach encompassing biomechanical assessments, range of motion tests, postural evaluations, and strength analyses, she discerns physical limitations and strengths crucial for optimizing performance. Her emphasis lies in injury prevention, fostering open channels of communication among coaches, medical professionals, and athletes to facilitate peak athletic performance.

Rochelle Duarte

Senior Biokineticist

Rochelle Duarte, a qualified biokineticist, has a passion for physical activity, movement, and exercise. She firmly believes that “exercise is medicine” and encourages MOVEMENT. Her background in artistic gymnastics has encouraged her own active lifestyle and she promotes and encourages others to move as much and as often as possible. 

Rochelle is also a qualified BASI Pilates instructor and is certified in various other exercise disciplines, sports massage and genetic exercise counselling giving her the ability to work across a variety of spectrums. She has experience in working with various orthopaedic and sports injuries, in wellness and with different chronic diseases. She has a special interest for special population groups such as for Parkinson’s Disease patients. 

Rochelle is motivated to help people move better and more optimally, whether it be for reducing chronic pain, pain due to injury, for sports performance, return to sport, or the general improvement of one’s own physical abilities.

Nicola Hamman

Biokineticist


Nicola is a qualified biokineticist (BSc (HONS) Biokinetics_ Cum Laude)  who loves being active and helping others achieve their rehabilitation, lifestyle and performance goals through the use of physical activity and exercise. She has experience in working with various different conditions and population groups, whether it be orthopeadic, chronic or neurological, and firmly believes in the ability of exercise to improve an individual’s physical- and psychological well-being, as well as one’s overall quality of life.

Nicola is based at our Woodhill - and Serengeti branch where she focuses on rehabilitation of general orthopeadic- and chronic pain conditions, while also working closely with our golf coaches in order to prevent injuries and enhance the performance of our players.

Through her commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, she constantly strives to improve her patients’ physical welfare, irrespective of their functionality capabilities, and is committed to making a difference in the lives of individuals facing unique challenges.
