Made from highly durable foam to complement the natural curve of the spine, the Oov revolutionizes how people train, and the way spine-related conditions are treated. It works by activating the user’s core stabilising muscles while also gently extending the spine to stimulate healthy intervertebral disc lubrication. This active response in the user helps achieve ‘neutral spine’, a widely used concept in the treatment and assessment of spinal conditions.
The Oov helps realign the body spatially using natural geometric ratios, employing balance, motor control, and self-awareness to improve physical health. The Oov aspires to be a conduit and a bridge between all disciplines of movement, bodywork, health, wellness, healing, and performance.
The concept was borne out of a need to improve on the ‘rolled towel’ that is widely used by medical practitioners to stretch out the back in order to aid its recovery. After years of research and development, a natural geometric progression was discovered that allowed the Oov design.
